Re: MOG released in Australia - doesn't appear in App Gallery

No, this is not yet fixed.

I have created a new mysb.com account, and factory reset both of my squeezeboxes.

I can access Mog only when connected to mysb.com, not when via LMS.

With LMS, I cam search etc but tracks try to play but no sound. With mysb.com it works correctly.

I can put MOG on home menus but doesn't work unless connected via mysb.com.

Yes, I have entered the correct information in the LMS settings with user and password.

Any suggestions as to how to get this working so that I don't have to switch music sources all the time?

Re: MOG released in Australia - doesn't appear in App Gallery

I can confirm that the Mog app still doesn't work with Squeezebox Touch in Australia, despite support reporting to me that the issue had been fixed.

I suggest that it has been partially fixed.  I re-installed the app in my Squeezebox RADIO - and it began working IMMEDIATELY (and wasn't working previously).  Went through same process on the Touch many times - uninstalling and re-installing app many times, logging in again, etc, etc.  but nothing would make it work - everything appears to be working fine, but, as many have experienced - NO AUDIO.  Everything else on the Touch is working perfectly.

When playing normally the Touch displays a momentary splash screen, with a black background, stating "Now Playing .. and name of song" - this splash DOESN'T appear in the Mog app immediately prior to a song "playing".

This is very frustrating.

Re: MOG released in Australia - doesn't appear in App Gallery

And now this from Mog support.  What should I do Logitech?

Nate, Jul 20 18:23 (PDT):

Hi There,

We have had some reports of this. This issue you are running into has to do with the Logitech Media Server (LMS) You would need to contact Logitech and they would be happy to get you back up and running.

Hope this helps,

Nate

Re: MOG released in Australia - doesn't appear in App Gallery

I was assuming this was how it would end up... Mog will blame Logitech and vice versa. :smileyfrustrated:

That said, I have been trying various settings in my LMS and on my NAS to see whether I could get it to work. No Luck.

If Logitech know of a fix, please someone post!

Re: MOG released in Australia - doesn't appear in App Gallery

I have the same problem - MOG streaming OK with sound from mysqueezebox.com, but no sound from Boom via LMS.

I also have noticed another problem, interested to hear if others have the same issue... when streaming MOG through mysqueezebox.com, songs appear to abruptly cut off about  6 to 7 seconds before the end and the next song then starts.

Welcome any suggestions?

Yep, me too.

8 sec cut off from end of track and no sound from LMS V7.7.2 using Squeezebox Classic.

Lets hope they can sort it out.

also cannot get MOG working via Logitech Media Server.  Just got a stock answer from Logitech say to reset the Squeezebox to factory defaults.  Guess I'll be sticking with Spotify.
