Hey. I recently added a playlist to my itunes library but I can't get it to show up in on my Squeezebox! I have tried everything. Reboot, rescan, reinstall and just won't see the new playlist. I the end I added the songs to another playlist and got them to show up...

Is this a bug in SBS? 

I am on mac os x 10.6.7 and SBS 7.7.1

I'm having the exact same issue.  

I'm running Logitech Media Server Version: 7.7.2 - r33893 in conjunction with iTunes 10.6.1(7) on Mac OS 10.7.3.

I've rescanned a hundred times, exported the new playlists in multiple formats (.m3u, .m3u8, .xml), renamed the lists by taking out non standard characters.  All to no avail.  I see the old playlists and also the correct playlist count for new discovered playlists in the scan results but the new ones just don't show up in the LMS playlist menu.  I'm not sure why there the comletetion time for the playlist scan (below) was  00:00:00 but I also noticed that there was no log recorded for the playlist scan.

I wish there were a way to manually add a playlist by pointing the playlist file instead relying on the scan process.

Was there any solution to this? I have the same issue with LMS 7.71 running on Vortexbox. Scanner says imported 13 itunes playlists but none of them show up.

I don't have a solution, but I did find a workaround: basically, I exported my playlist from iTunes as a text file to the playlist watch folder, and the Squeezebox server and all Squeezeboxes picked it right up!

In the Logitech Media Server control panel, select the Library tab, and find out where the Playlist folder is.

From iTunes, select the playlist and choose File > Library > Export Playlist. In the Save dialog, navigate to the Playlist folder that the Media Server is watching, and it should work!

Hi,

Having the same prob. All of a sudden new playlists don't show up on the SB anymore. The old ones, however, do. 

The solution you're proposing does not work for me though as I have a large number or palylists (>300) and individually exporting them is not an option.

Any other ideas?

Running iTunes 10.7

LMS 7.7.2.

on a Windows Home Server
