I'm properly logged into MySqueezebox and I've enabled MySqueezebox on Squeeze Server, but my Transporter SE does not show as connected and I have no Remote Control thru MySqueezebox. Is there something I am missing ? Appreciate any suggestions.

You must first connect the player to MySB.com in order for it to show up as connected and therefore be controlled via Remote Control on the MySB.com web UI.
Several ways to do this:
- stop the LMS server program on your computer, then select Internet Radio or My Apps from the player
- on the LMS server web UI click the down arrow to select a player, select MySB.com
- on the LMS server web control select Extras > Music Source, then Switch to MySB.com
- Select Connect t MySB.com from the player (home menu or in settings)
Why do you want to switch to MySB.com? To listen to internet content with your server computer turned off?

Thank You. I did figure it out last night. I found the "connect to MySB" option on the Duet controller. I'm curious why both the controller and MySB can not be active at the same time ?
The only reason I want to use MySB is on the occasion I am listening to music and also using my laptop at the same time... so that I can make a quick change on my laptop if I want to listen to something different. I was also considering purchasing the Kindle Fire and using it with MySB as the controller. Not sure if this would be possible with an Android device ?

I'm not following either point/question.
(1) Do you mean why you can't use LMS server and MySB.com at the same time? If yes, your player can only be connected to one server at a time, either LMS or MySB.com.
(2) Your laptop can remotely control both LMS and MySB.com via their web UI, if that is what you are trying to do. IOW, no need to switch to MySB.com just to have a remote UI on your laptop to control the player.

1) I guess I had not considered MySB to be a completely different server, but yes I was hoping to run both the Logitech media server and MySB at the same time. I thought MySB was just a different interface to control the player thru the LMS software.
2) I agree. Using the LMS web interface makes more sense now that I know I would need to switch between servers to run MySB... but I had hoped I would not need to run the LMS software on more than one computer. If that be the case, I don't really see any benefit to the MySB web control interface. It is just another interface with no benefit over the LMS web interface.
Thanks again !

Correct, MySB.com is really only used if you have no local LMS, at all or temporarily.
You can remotely access your LMS server web UI from any computer on your network, only one LMS running on the server computer. From any other computer on your network simply enter http://your.server.IP:9000 into the web browser. 9000 is the port LMS uses. To find out your LMS server IP and http port # just go to LMS > Settings > Information

I also use SqueezePlay as the "controller" on my laptop to control LMS running on my vortexbox. I like it better than the LMS interface. Install from here, then within the SqueezePlay program you'll "choose player" and choose the transporter. (if you choose the squeezeplay itself as the player, then it also works as another squeezebox player on your PC). Install from here:
http://downloads.slimdevices.com/nightly/
***I don't work for Logitech...I'm just another user***
Location 1: Vortexbox Appliance 6TB (2.2) > LMS 7.7.2 > Transporter, Touch, Boom, Radio w/Battery (all ethernet)
Location 2: VBA 3TB (2.2) > LMS 7.7.2 > Touch > Benchmark DAC I, Boom, Radio w/Battery (all ethernet except Radio)
Office: Win7(64) > LMS 7.7.2 > SqueezePlay
Spares: VBA 4TB, SB3, Touch (3), Radio (3), CONTROLLER
Controllers: iPhone (iPeng), iPad (iPengHD & SqueezePad), CONTROLLER, or SqueezePlay 7.7 on Win7(64) laptop
Files: Ripping (FLAC) - dbpoweramp, Tagging - mp3tag, Spotify

Thanks to you both for the suggestions. I think I will try both options... it's good to have options.
So what is SqueezePlay ? It does not appear to be Logitech supported. Was it an original Slim Devices control interface, now only in Beta form ?

It is a perpetual beta software player developed by Slim Devices and is not officially supported, but works very well.
But if you are familiar with and like the LMS web UI then I'd suggest just using that via remote web UI as instructed.

agree. LMS interface is fine and can handle all the control functions. I'd play with that for a while first. but don't be afraid of SqueezePlay because it is beta. Squeezeplay mimics the menu items and control method used on the TOUCH, RADIO, and CONTROLLER.
p.s. You can have SqueezePlay installed, use it for controlling, use the LMS webUI interface, and any other controller, all at the same time. That is, there is nothing to keep you from having all these different controls at the same time (see my signature,...between my wife and I we use all sorts of controllers for our squeeze universe....)
