As stated in previous posts by myself and Trevor we have forward this thread on to our Engineers as well as case numbers that we have as well. Until we hear something back there is nothing that we can update with.

Cat and Trevor, you have my sympathies too.  But all it takes is a few Google searches to see that Logitech is not thought of highly for their customer service or product support.  I am surprised that there are no Twitter hashtags out there dissing Logitech.  Keep this top-down approach going, and a few years from now there will be.  My advice to the company is to get with the 21st century and start treating customers/consumers with consideration and respect at all levels of the company.  Please see your consumers as more than just dollar signs.  I am going to start investigating other options besides the Radio since I still have a week to return the one I purchased.  Cat and Trevor, have a good weekend.

I am surprised that nobody has noted that this identical issue occurred in October, 2010.  Accolades to Logitech for acknowledging the problem this time around.  I guess.

My brother, who had originally recommended the Squeezebox to me, abandoned the product in favor of a Sonos Connect because of the connectivity problems.  I stuck with the Squeezebox and Logitech eventually sorted out the issues with Pandora.  My brother gives raves to the Sonos Connect and is not experiencing and issues with Pandora connectivity right now.

I am giving the Squeezebox one more day before I abandon it in favor of Sonos.  I previously abandoned Logitech Harmony remotes after having advocated and promoted them for years.  I do believe that Logitech has lost the recipe.

Just found this by accident. I am also having the Pandora problem of playing a few songs and then la la land. I shut off my radio ( LONG power button push) power it back on and then via the online remote hit play. This leaves the radio at the main menu but playing( no now playing pic on screen, just the now playing menu). It has been running for over an hr now and not once has it stopped. Not sure if it is a lucky accident or somehow this is a workaround. I  "assume" one can also hit the home button to get to the main menu, but not how I got there and I dont want to try it now. Maybe someone else can see if this helps them.

 Of course it all could be coincidence and I just got lucky, beats me....

I will not blame the Logitech support people in this forum. For the most part, they say what their superiors tell them to say... and do not say what they are told not to say. They walk a fine line

Don't get me wrong: I love my two Logitech radios: I have a Squeezebox and a Touch, one at home and one at work. The main reason I have them is because they support Pandora and Slacker (That's where they kick Sangean's **bleep**!)

I also understand that unfortunately, bugs are a part of today's technology-driven world. However: if you have to make a change, it seems to me that when said change fails, it should be possible to revert back to the previous configuration and start over.

I will also say that I have dealt with companies whose tech support is many times WORSE than Logitech's. I'm not making excuses, but it's a fact.

It's also a fact that a lot of people will be extemely happy when this problem is resolved.

Now also, in addition to the server freezes, I have trouble connecting to the Web Interface on my kindle Fire and also on the app for my android phone. Just me? Is there a meltdown happening?

I have issues with Slacker and it seems to coincide with their commercials.  More often than not at the end of a commercial it will not switch back to music.  Worst part of this is that it is intermittent.

Meltdown? Who knows. Cat and Trevor and the rest of us are just supposed to sit in this car until........well somebody, somewhere decides to do something. Until then, nobody will tell us whether the car can be fixed at all or whether help is nearby. You can sit here in the car or get out and walk to the next service station. You're on your own.

I forgot to mention that Cat and Trevor may actually know something but they've been told not to tell the rest of us. Weird, huh?
