Another thing that might possibly help is for everyone affected by this to visit the following link, create an account, and add your "Vote" on this particular bug:

I just tested and Slacker played for me for about 17.5 minutes before getting stuck. Pandora is behaving a lot better lately (than Slacker) on my two Squeezebox devices, although I have had Pandora go silent once or twice in the last few days. It's easier to get it going again, however.

Since you appear to want to help, can you explain why Logitech chooses not to actively communicate with users regarding interruption of services via media like twitter or Facebook?
As I do not work for Logitech, I cannot comment on that. The best place to post that question is the "Share your thoughts" section. No Logitech employee will be able to answer that since they are technical support agents except the community manager Anton or he will forward the feedback to the appropriate department.
For the bug it is also good to post your experiance and what troubleshooting you have done as well.

I'm new to this forum .. I just purchased a SqueezeBox Touch for the purpose of streaming @ home. I have Slacker, and Pandora accounts free) which only stream music for about 15-20 minutes then shut down. The internet radio feature works fine but is not the reason I purchased the unit.
If the problem is not isolated very soon I will be returning it .

I've had a SqueezeBox Boom for almost 2 years, and a SqueezeBox Radio a little less. On the whole I have been very happy with both, although the Radio has had more glitches than the Boom. Until recently both had been pretty reliable for Slacker & Pandora, for months. The present problem with Slacker stopping after 15-20 minutes affects both, and I'm guessing it's the result of a modification the Logitech folks have made to their MySqueezeBox.com service, through which many of the music services stream. Pandora is working about 98% fine for me right now (it pauses very occasionally but usually gets itself going again, unlike Slacker). My hunch is they'll get it sorted out before long. This latest problem has been going on since 3/29 for me, so only about 2 weeks.
The only thing I can suggest is make sure you've updated your Touch to the latest firmware, and then once again compare Pandora with Slacker. You may find (as I have) that Pandora performance is acceptable (although I prefer Slacker, musically). You might also try some other streams in the meantime to see if they work any better, like other Internet radio stations--there are so many to choose from. And keep an eye on the return window for wherever you bought it from.
I think, sadly, that it's not (yet) realistic to expect anything that has to tie through the Internet to so many other services to be as reliable as an old-fashioned FM radio. But on the whole, and when they work as they should (which is MOST of the time), I find the SqueezeBox products to be very enjoyable.

Any updates on the Slacker problem? As of last night I still get the error after playing 1 or 2 songs. You would think after the last time with the 3 week Pandora and Slacker outage they would make this time a top priority. It's been over 2 weeks this time.! Pandora and Slacker are two of the biggest stations people listen too. Everytime a update or change is made and instead of seeing a fix or new feature I worry about it breaking something. It really seems like Logitech doesn't see it as a problem. They should be giving us an update every couple days.

I'm using a Boom, but am having the same problem using msb.com to listen to Slacker. This morning it made it through about 6 songs before quitting. I have yet to notice a problem with Pandora, although I don't listen to it nearly as much. I would suggest folks try out Last.fm in the meantime. Great depth and breadth of music, and it's never given me a problem. But I guess I'll try calling the support number about Slacker, too, just to add to the list.

I was listening to Pandora (which I do more these days since Slacker is not working well) and I noticed a commercial come on and then get cut off abruptly. I looked up at my Boom's screen and there was an error message (I forget the exact wording, but it was something like "unable to continue, skipping to next track"). Then a new song title appeared but above it it just said "Stopped." Usually Pandora seems to recover quickly & continue but this time it seemed to stay stuck. After a minute or so of silence I hit "Play" and it jumped to yet another song.
I may have to check out Last.FM, I guess. If any official Logitech support folks are monitoring this, it would be nice to get some kind of progress update here.

Last.fm is a great service but they no longer offer their free streaming accounts to hardware players like SqueezeBox.
You must have a paid Last.fm account to stream from Last.fm to a SqueezeBox (or any other non-computer hardware).
