Hi Everyone,

I've just heard back from our engineering team regarding the Pandora issue. Our internal tests have confirmed that the problems being reported are occurring. Our Partner, Pandora, has made some changes on their end based on logs we sent. Based on internal tests we've conducted after the changes, we have seen an improvement and are monitoring results.

Just saw your message, Anton, so I will do that.  But before then, I was going to post the following:

I have been listening to Slacker successfully for the last couple of hours or so.  Then I just noticed silence.  I looked at the display on my Boom (the only unit that was currently playing) and it says "Stopped."  I then went to the web controller and found this:

The latest:  I have noticed sudden silence with both Slacker & Pandora in the last 24 hours.  Song is playing, then suddenly silence in the middle of the song.  If I have my remote control handy, I tap up-volume once and the song [it just happened mid-sentence!] continues on like nothing happened.

So as I was typing the above sentence, and listening to Pandora on my SB Radio, the music stopped.  I got up to look at the display before hitting the remote, and the little "progress dot" wasn't moving.  Yet when I tapped the up-volume button on the remote once, the song had obviously been playing (silently) because now the progress dot was much farther along.  This is on Pandora but I observed it more than once this morning with Slacker also.

I think y'all still have some mysqueezebox.com issues, although it's still better than when Slacker was totally locking up.

One more update.  The silence just happened again (on Pandora, about 10 minutes since the last time).  This time I tried using the volume control on the web interface (http://www.mysqueezebox.com/player/playerControl) rather than my physical remote control, and it had no effect.  I had to use the physical remote control to get the music to play again.

And now (11 minutes later) I've switched to Slacker and it just went silent.  I went over to my SB Radio and tapped the big central knob just to verify I was on Slacker now, and that act also made the sound return.

And one more bit of info that's probably important:  Slacker went silent again on my SB Radio around 11:27am, roughly ten minutes after the last time, again.  But this time I noticed I could hear it still playing on my SB Boom in the next room (the two are usually synched). I didn't have the volume very loud on the Boom, so I didn't notice it before, so I can't say if it always continued playing or not.

But now I'm wondering if it's just an issue with SB Radio fimware?

Both Slacker & Pandora playing fine for me on my Boom and Radio.  Been playing both services for hours.

And today my Radio and Boom have been playing Slacker for hours without a significant glitch.  In other words, they're working "as advertised."   :-)

And since last night I can't get Slacker to play AT ALL.  Maybe it's time for a new thread, since Pandora seems OK.

Slacker working fine for me.  Tried rebooting your player?
