Logitech has NOT solved this problem and has *stll* not created a customer friendly twitter feed that notifies users of system problems like this that includes regular engineering updates on the status of the outtage. Instead, customers like me must repeatedly call tech support to tell Logitech about its own problems and then sit patiently on the runway in hopes that the plane will one day take off. This issue as been going on for more than a year...every two months Pandora becomes virtually unuseable because of the freezes. Every time we notify Logitech they simply say "we're now aware of the problem" and that's the last we hear from the engineers...no status updates, no explanations...just a product that does not perform as advertised....until it does again...and then doesn't again..etc, etc., etc. Think i'm exaggerating? Just read the 23-page forum thread on this topic which ends with an administrator declaring the Pandora Freeze problem is fixed. Ha, ha. Temporary customer satisfaction is worthless if you don't have customer loyalty. Logitech's inability to communicate effectively with customers is legendary and ensures a very short future for this company. Try calling their corporate number or any of the company's publicly listed phone numbers. No one answers and no one returns calls. That should tell you something about this corporation. As soon as I find a better music streaming device, I'm done for good.....OR Logitech could choose to wake up and treat customers with some degree of care and respect. I'm not holding my breath.

Here we go again!!! This time the freezes started happening about 2 weeks ago.  Pandora plays sometimes for an hour or two before freezing, sometimes more frequent. This is happening on all my Logitech products, squeezebox touch, squeezebox duet and squeezebox radio.  As before, if you hold the pause key down for a couple of seconds, Pandora will resume playing.  I just wonder why the technical fix cannot seem to stay fixed????

Eeveryone  really needs to create a ticket at 877-887-8889  (I know it's a PITA, but they will continue to assume everything's fine otherwise).  Additionally, I suggest posting a review on Amazon for the Squeezebox product you own and warn prospective customers. I've noticed an ever so slight change in approach by logitech customer support  since some customers started doing this. At least they've stopped saying "So what do you want *us* to do about it?"

Someone at Logitech encouraged me to contact Pandora to urge them to be more cooperative in solving the problem. I suspect that is B.S. because Pandora is a much better company than Logitech is. I encourage everyone to share your experience far and wide. Maybe Logitech will finally wake up and solve the "no track data"  problem or stop advertising that their products work with Pandora and Slacker and MOG. All of these streaming services are now timing out on the Touch. Clearly the problem is Logitech's.

I agree that creating tickets is the best way to get their attention.  But as another datapoint, I was at a friends house last night (in the US) and we listened to Pandora for hours with no interuption. I asked him if he'd been having any problems (songs stopping, skipping, etc.) and he said no. And he listens several hours a day. He has a single SB radio connected via mysqueezebox.com (i.e., no local computer running LMS).  And he has the free pandora, not the premium subscription.

I believe it only effects premium subscribers but I could be wrong.

Nope, I've never had paid subscriptions to Slacker or Pandora and it's happened to me using both services lately (once with Pandora, multiple times with Slacker, but partly that is because I prefer Slacker and try to spend a lot more time listening to it--when it will cooperate).

Time to open a ticket again....

Looks like it's just us squeaky wheels again!  

There are two more additional threads going on this now that they closed the infamous 23-page rant we had going before. I encourage everyone to post about this on Amazon as well.  

In 18 months, Logitech has been unable to provide a consistently reliable music streaming platform. It reminds me of a VW I used to own...great when it worked but too much of a PITA over the long haul. I wish there were a device with equal sound quality out there to replace it.

Hi! Looks like we're back again. Same as you guys and same issue as before. Pandora and Slacker maybe good for half an hour. Sometimes one or two tracks. I won't repeat the list of issues. Just letting everyone (and Logitech) know you're not the only ones. See how long this goes, this time.
