Can anyone help please with the following issue.. I am running Squeezebox Server 7.5.4 on my Macbook Pro (OS X 10.6.7). My Squeezeboxes (2 Classics and a Boom) and the Macbook Pro all connect wirelessly via an Airport Extreme. I have no problems streaming my iTunes library (stored on the Mac) and, surprisingly, if the Mac is 'sleeping' the S'boxes will 'wake' it if they are activated to play music (providing the Macbook is not closed and is connected to a power source).
The problem is that if the Macbook decides to go to sleep (at the end of its preset sleep period) while listening to music (no other activity on the Mac), it takes SBS down with it and the music stops with 'Can't connect to server' message, (obviously as SBS has stopped).
Am I missing something here? How difficult can it be for SBS to 'suspend' the sleep timer on the Mac while streaming data to the S'boxes, or is there something I have not set up correctly? I'm always open to learn!. Thanks in advance, Steve.

Many thanks for your input. I'll take a look and see if I can incorporate the script although it is a bit outside my experience. It seems a shame that this issue is not already properly addresses in the Squeezebox software. Thanks anyway.
