Re: Slow playback from stream

the quality setting (highest, lame = V0) only matters if you turn  ON bitrate limiting. The server priority being at 16 shouldn't be causing this problem either.

Re: Slow playback from stream

[ Edited ]

The slow playback has the "feel" of a conf file (these control transcoding rules) change where the changes have not paid attention to source sample rate.  I have tested changing the main FileTypes settings and haven't been able to reproduce the problem. The main setting in FileType is  AAC-Flac should be "faad/flac" and not "disabled". Ideally in Filetypes change all "disabled" to a working setting and make sure to click "Apply".

As I see it there are two possibilities.

1. Some changes to convert.conf or a stray custom-convert.conf file somewhere in the LMS directories has a bad conversion rule.

2. If the problem only happens with a soft player then I would  think the problem is with Ubuntu audio setup.

So rather than test with Softsqueeze - can you test again with your real hardware player - what model is it ?
