Hi there,
This is driving me mad and I am so grateful for your help.
In short, I am struggling to import my itunes playlists for use with my squeezebox touch.
I have successfully imported my itunes library and can play all my songs via the touch. Also, when I run a new scan, squeezebox can find all of my playlists but they are not visible on the squeezebox touch under 'playlists'. It would appear that while squeezebox can find the itunes playlists, it is unable to read the data. Do I perhaps need to alter the itunes music library.xml file? If so, it would be helpful to provide exact instructions.
Here is what I have done so far.
1. I have copied all my music to a folder called /Qmultimedia/Music
2. I have copied across two files from my computer to a folder called /Qmultimedia/ (itunes library.itl and itunes music library.xml)
3. In squeezebox server I have entered the following details:
Under 'Basic Settings' Music Folder I have entered /Qmultimedia/Music (all other fields blank)
Under 'itunes' I have checked the use itunes checkbox, under itunes music library I have entered /Qmultimedia/iTunes Music Library.xml, under itunes media library I have entered /Qmultimedia/Music (all other fields blank)
4. I have run a full scan
5. The scan finds all my songs and finds my itunes playlists under itunes playlist import.
6. I can then play all my songs but cannot view my playlists
Something that may help is that previously I mistakenly copied some of music to a directory called /Qmultimedia/Music/Music.
Squeezebox was then able to not only find this music but also found itunes playlists associated with the songs I copied across to this directory. I have since uninstalled squeezebox server from my nas and started again. The problem is I want to store my music in /Qmultimedia/Music so that it is also available to Twonky so I can also play on my WD TV live.
Apologies if I have missed something important. Very grateful for any help.
Roger

I don't use the integrate with itunes options, but my recollection is that if you are using this option, you would leave the location of the music library blank and only include the itunes xml in its appropriate entry location.
This is old, but may help. SqueezeCenter is now LMS.

Thanks very much for your response. Just to say I have tried to leave the location of the music library blank but when I do this the scan finds zero files.
Thanks for the link. There is a comment : /Does the path in iTunes XML have to match with SqueezeCenter's view of files?/ . Unfortunately there isn't a reply... (When I inspect my xml file it obviously references my computer's file structure because that is where the file was situated before I coped it across to my NAS).
I'll keep trying and post an update if I am successful...

Thanks for the tip Gary. A quick look indicates someone is using itunes integration so may be able to help me with my query.
