I'm running OpenSUSE 12.2 x64 Linux and my 7.7.1 LogitechMediaServer failed when I upgraded from OpenSUSE 12.1 x64 to OpenSUSE12.2 x64. In fairness, I think it was a PERL update that broke the Logitech server. I couldn't resolve all the dependencies to get it going again, which looked like they were related to high speed timer hooks for PERL needed by the LogitechMediaServer.
I got my SlimDevices Server running again by downgrading to SlimServer_v6.3.1 (a previously working copy I still had on the system which can be downloaded here http://downloads.slimdevices.com/SlimServer_v6.3.1
I own 5 of these players, so not having a working SlimServer is painful with over $1000 worth of equipment sitting there, not working. I was getting desperate!
P.S. I notice this site replaces : S with a "happy face" making DBD:QLite unusable, so
DBD:QLite = DBD : : SQLite (without spaces)

Just set up a Squeezebox Radio and everything functions except the Mysqueezebox.com site. The Radio does not connect to the web site. I can get to the radio with the Android Ap and control it just not from the website. Any ideas ? Also the remote login does not work on my WIFI network. My Media Server was already set up months ago for Google TV on a Logitech Revue.

The player can only be connected to one server at a time, yours must be connected to LMS server on your PC.
You can switch Radio to MySB.com by going to Settings > Advanced > Networking > "switch to MySB.com"
If you plan on doing this switch often you can add that "switch to MySB.com" to your Home menu.
Why do you want to switch away from LMS? PC is not always turned on?

However the player will not connect to Mysqueezebox.com with the connect button under advanced even if the LMS is not running.
Then something is likely screwy with your network. Try a router reboot?
LMS running or not it should switch to MySB when directed to do so.

Right click LMS icon in your System Tray, go to Control Panel > Diagnostics, what is reported for ALL pings, ports, IP's?
Also try LMS > Settings > MySqueezeBox.com, is your MySB login info present and correct? Password will correctly (but stupidly) show as blank.

It reports the LMS running on the IP address of my desktop and all the ports are marked "OK"
It reports MSB running on 188.8.131.52 and pingd and ports are all marked "OK"
MSB still show the player as not connected. I must have connected at one point because I changed the name of the Player to Patt's Squeezebox and MSB shows it as such. Maybe that ' in the name is a problem ?
Perhaps I should do a Factory Reset ?
