error when accessing Squeezebox server

Has anyone else seen this? I can't seem to get my player to be recognized by the server sw. I've tried deleting and re-adding the player to my profile and still no joy. This is the error:

There was an error loading the remote feed for Pandora: (Cannot access mysqueezebox.com services without a player connected.)

Any thoughts?

Re: error when accessing Squeezebox server

Which player?  Are you using LMS server on your computer or MySqueezeBox.com server online?

the software is located on my Amahi Home Server that I use to access via web browser internally on my home network.

The machine is a squeezebox radio.

I had to do some editing and configuring via cpan to get it to work to pop up on my LAN.

You should probably get help on the Amahi boards.  Very few will be familiar with it nor the added "app" of SqueezeCenter running on Amahi.  You can try the user supported SqueezeBox forums, lot of NAS/third party OS users there.  Look into the 3rd Party Software forum for possible Amahi (or similar) Q&A.

Sure the Amahi can see the internet?

Amahi have LMS Control Panel (guessing not) to run LMS Diagnostics?

Tried connecting to SqueezeCenter from the Radio itself via My Music?

Re: error when accessing Squeezebox server

I've checked with Amahi, they are referring me back to Logitech Support Forums . I've removed perl-CGI and perl-CPAN and reinstalled both then reinstalled the application. I've reset the firmware on the player back to stock and reconnected the player back to my account... sadly still no dice.

Re: error when accessing Squeezebox server

Logitech support not being able to help I can understand as Amahi is not a Logitech supported product.  I'm surprised Amahi support couldn't help.  I can only suggest trying the Third Party threads on the Slim user forum I suggested earlier where Amahi is even mentioned a few times (though infrequently).  If someone in there cannot resolve it then I'd say you are SOL.  :smileysad:
