Found this shortly after they made the update. sry for not posting sooner. 

There is an easy fix.

Update GTA4 to the latest release of Version 1.0.2.0

Create a file called commandline.txt in your GTAIV folder .. (same folder as GTAIV.exe is in)

Add the command -usedirectinput to the new text file and save.

Launch as you normally would.

OK so I downloaded the archive on that link, but im not computer savy enough understand the instructions.  could you please dumb the instructions down with detailed step by step info so I can understand plz.

It genereates the dll and codfig files to emulate any controller to a xBox 360 pad. I've been using it for all aplications
