Dual Action Game Pad for Assassin's Creed

Recently bought Assassin's Creed (AC) and paired it up with Logitechs' dual action game pad (DAGP). While in AC I switched the input device from keyboard to DAGP and for the most part the joysticks and buttons are recognized (I used the default setting provided in AC). However, the numerical assignments listed by AC and the physical assignment to the keys seemed to offset by one (i.e. a function is assigned to key 3   but I have to hit key 2 to make it happen). I am currently running Windows 7  64 bit OS, my Logitech driver is 5.8.141.0, my device ID is HID\VID_046d&PIC_C216&Rev_0300.    So my questions are:

1) Is Assassin's Creed supported by the above system configuration?

2) Does anyone have a Profile that can be shared to support the above system configuration?

3) If the DAGP drivers do not support AC, AC II, and soon AC III when does Logitech plan to add support for those products?

I can do most everything in the game with the default settings except climb walls (sort of important) because the game is asking me to depress button zero (0) but there does not appear to be a button zero to hit on the DAGP.

I tried finding a list of game Profiles for the DAGP, seems like that would be a wonderful sticky link at the top of the DAGP forum support page.

Thanks in advance for any help I receive
