I am having an issue with my Logitech Extreme 3D Pro. In Battlefield 3, it works just fine, but I have noticed in games like Spec Ops: The Line, Transformers: The War for Cybertron and Blacklight: Retribution, if the stick is connected it causes the character to spin endlessly. I haven't tested it with other games but I am sure it is happening to others. I can I fix this without having to unplug the stick everytime I want to play a different game?

Hello curtst
We have encountered a similar issue before and it occurs when the incorrect executable file (.exe) is associated with the profile you created for a specific game. (Some games have more than one .exe file associated to it.)
- To make sure you have the correct .exe file selected for the profile, first run the game then open the Task Manager while the game is running in the background
- In Task Manager, right-click the game you want to associate your profile with and select "Go To Process.

- In the next window, right-click the highlighted .exe file and select "Open File Location."

- A Windows Explorer window will appear that shows the .exe of the game.

-
To find the directory of the game, click once in the file address bar at the top of the window. Windows will display the current directory.

-
Return to your Logitech Profiler window and browse to that directory, select the game .exe and click OK.

Hello curtst
Did you install the Logitech Profiler? If you have and you are not using any profiles anyway, uninstall the Logitech Profiler and try using the joystick as a plug and play device.

It is unfortunate that this has no real answers. I just bought this joystick and have the same issue. If you go into the controller properties you will see that the twist is slightly off center at resting position, this causes anything that uses this axis to constantly spin to the right. It can be manually countered with a small amount of twist force to the left but it is highly annoying to need to do this. THe worst part is that the 'calibration' screen simply details the issue but does not allow any corrective action to be taken. I am actually confused at the purpose of the calibration screen as it appears to be more of an orienation screen.

Hello curtst,
I apologize for the late reply. Try calibrating the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro joystick in the control panel.
In Windows 7
-Go to Control Panel.
-Select Devices and Printers.
-Right click the Logitech Dual Action Gamepad.
-Go to the Settings tab.
-Click Calibrate.
Hope this helps. ![]()

Still a no go.
The instructions you gave to calibrate the joystick doesn't give a calibrate option. Did a Google search and saw that someone said if you hold ctrl+shift while click on properties will revel the calibrate option, it did. But...When I tried to calibrate it didn't display any information. After the calibrate I clicked on test and nothing was centered. So I click on reset to default which put everything centered. So I figured maybe that worked, nope, spinning still exists.
