Hey there.
For 4 engines jets like 747 a380 you have to use a program called FSUIPC http://www.flightsim.com/file.php?cm=SEARCH1&fname
Greetings

I have FSUIPC on FSX from mods etc, but how does this enable me to use x2 properly?

hi,
I test this G940 product on FSX under windows 7 X64 bits.
The result is impossible to use this equipment correctly.
This equipement lose all the time the setup, the calibration throttle is too sensitive for special addon like
ATR72-500 of flight1.
Shame to logitech team for this bad driver bad under FSX
I must use FSUIPC for use this product in degrading mode
I wait better from product at 300 € with a minimum of quality product and software...
i m professional not beginner...
Regards

Amen F.Mignard-
I payed a ton for this, to recieve a beta stage product and software... well its great but the user friendlyness, amount of problem and compatibility issues RUIN IT
Now my greatest fear is logitech might release Flight system g500, will vibrating pedals and throttle, leaving us with a unusable, inferiour, worthless product!! Either fix it, or upgrade it AND fix it but gives us the chance to trade in the old model for BUYING PRICE and just pay the difference.

I'm glad I returned my G940 in time for refund because I could not set it for helo or plane in FSX - or helo in Black Shark - way to sensetive, kept switching autopilot off.

Hey guys,
Bursco, there is no problem with the g940 in regards to use in games, well atleast i have only found a few (BFBC2 and seperate controllers) Sensitivety and configuration are all possible to be made to suit you through configeration BUT, it may be a little tricky at times, and possibly a google search might help you with optimizing settings, but this isn't impossible.
With new releases of software my g940 is becoming more and more usable and i am LOVING it with IL-2 and Arma 2: and FSX
Although, at first i was worried that my purchase was a dud, but i am loving more everyday. Forcefeedback is a amazing thing, now if it were in the pedals and throttle.... I would want logitechs' babies....
all in all, it just comes down to what suits you. There is no definite incompatibility, you just might have to be a bit lateral minded to get it all working.
Good luck

Me too. I'm not really clear how to set up the Collective and throttle to accurately simulate rotary winged flight. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Brother Mark - I'm totally lost re: Logitech G940 setup. I've probably made the mistake of reading too many posts of those who are skilled programmers, and I've gone from pillar to post and now have NO working setup(s) of G940 with FSX. I'm a couple months shy of my 80th birthday, and although I'm mentally sharp, I'm from the era where I was a reasonably accomplished aviator, but this new-fangled computereeze and programming is beyond me.
Is there a simple way to set up G940 with FSX? How can I go back to the default settings out-of-the-box? On FSX>settings>controls I selected default(s), but now - (don't you young guys laugh now) - I can't get the mini-joysticks (1 on the throttle & 1 on the joystick) and the hat switches (also 1 each) to function. Among other problems.
The biggest problem is that when I get some good advice from an expert on a forum such as "go into FS settings and delete every Axis assignment . . . then open up G940 Profiler . . . . . and assign buttons to you hearts content". that assumes I know whether to click on Select Command, or Select Axes, or ...... The more I try, the more mucked up things get.
Don't all of you flight instructors and ex-CFI's remember the old adage "don't ever ASSUME. Because when you do, you make an **bleep** out of U and ME."
Not to knock your product, but I have a Saitek Pro Yoke & dual throttle with CH Products rudder on a second comuter that I fly multi-engined stuff without any problems. I hate to give up on G940 but . . . . ..
