Re: G25 Parts

Which part broke exactly?

We don't sell piece parts except for componets that are designed to be removable. This is because we cannot honor a warranty on a device that has been opened in a way outside of replacing the battery, or other such customer accessable door.

If a user replaceable part was broken, then I will see what I can do.

Re: G25 Parts

Charles I'm having an issue with my DFP, the shifter button on the wheel is causing double and triple shifts.  When I shift to 2nd it goes to 4th or 5th sometimes not on to 3rd like it should.  Any help with this?  This is my 2nd wheel in 2 years and both are thing the same problems.  This is annoying and becoming unusable.

Thanks

Re: G25 Parts

I have a G25 wheel an it works just fine but I have the smaller wheel that came with it when I bought it. I have been trying to find the newer 13 1/2 inch wheel to put on it can you tell me if one if it can be replaced an if so where do I need to get the kit to replace it with.

Re: G25 Parts

The fact that someone wants to fix their own device probably indicates that the unit is already out of warranty anyway or they would just have you fix it under warranty. I didn't see anyone asking you to honor the warranty, only just to make parts accesible.

I have a G25 wheel and have advised many friends to buy the same. Now my wheel is broken (the upper half of the actual steering wheel). The unit is still fully functional but the top half of the wheel is loose and floppy. Apparently the stainless steel is just where you can see it and plastic is used behind the scenes. A new wheel would fix an otherwise perfect unit. Can't I just get a new wheel? I obviously don't expect any warranty after I open a device especially since the warranty is past. How about it Logitech? ~

Re: G25 Parts

In these tough economic times, this option of allowing customers to purchase replacement parts sounds like a good idea for both existing customers, as well as Logitech for wheels that are out of warranty. The customer gets a chance to remain happy and fix their product (thereby remaining loyal to the brand), instead of throwing it out in the garbage and not buying another Logitech product for this very reason. Logitech, in turn gets to sell more product as well as maintain longivity of their products. A win win for all involved.

Re: G25 Parts

Hi, I have the same petition to Logitech. I've just bought a G25 wheel. I was unpacking the unit, and when I peeled the protector plastic off the logo sign at the center of the wheel, the entire sign came off, and it got bent badly, so I just can't put it back in place. The wheel works great, but it looks ugly.

I've contacted Logitech support to get the tiny part, and I got the same reply... "Logitech doesn't sell spare parts, you have to return the unit for a repair or to get a new one"

Return the unit just for the logo? Come on Logitech! How much can the logo sign cost?

Thanks,  and sorry for poor english

Re: G25 Parts

You are KIDDING me. the reply from Logitech on this thread was seen as an "accepted solution"? What are cope out. The thread even goes on to talk of requesting simple parts and replacments with NO responce!

I have been looking for a Logitech G25 for a little while now and have been told to wait a while for the new one that will be released soon. If this is the level of customer service that Logitech gives then I may have to re-think my purchase.

Come on Logitech. Do better or loose your customer base.

Great solution, Logitech! Just say NO to every single request from your customers. Well done!
