Hi I too need a part for my G25 steering wheel. The right arm for tightening down the steering console has cracked. I over tightened it to make up for my flailing steering technique. Please let me know what steps I need to take to get a new arm.
Thanks

recently my logitech g25 racing wheel has broken, its a $0.01 piece of plastic that is used as an optical sensor disk, if logitech were a smart compandy, they'd offer these parts to its hardcore users, EVEN IF a warranty isint valid you should still be able to buy a part and fix it yourself, car company's have warranty on their vehicles and when it runs out they dont just come out with a new model, THEY MAKE SPARE PARTS, sell them to the CUSTOMER IN NEED of repair and the repair gets done, from what i've read logitech has VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE for problems such as this, ITS A SIMPLE FIX, A TINY PIECE OF PLASTIC, the only reason why logitech doesnt care is because they know poeple will just go out and buy a new one, and if they did offer a replacement they wouldnt make as much money, its all a big corporate scam to grab as much cash from their clients as possible, if i made a car that was very popular ( pontiac sunfire ) and after a few years of good sales decided to cut all production of replacement parts, would that car company's sales go up? no because if people cant buy a reliable product with replacement parts no one is going to want to pay money for a newer version of the same product that wont have replacement parts, logitech should offer a fix for us hardcore users, if they want me to buy their new wheel, show me that you can help us that dont have the money for it, buy offering a replacement part, if they did, i would fix my wheel, use it until i can afford the new one, but even something simple like offering a $0.01 piece of plastic to the masses is to hard for logitech to understand, brilliant marketing on your part guys, on a final note, i bet a 5 year old could have figured all this out on his own

alright guys, through the magic of plastic molding i am getting a copy of the optical sensor disk remade, LOGITECH DID NOT HELP WHATSOEVER........ horrible customer service, if anyone would like a copy of the sensor disk please let me know, i am not selling these parts, i'll be giving them away, do not go buy a new wheel if you have this problem with the sensor disk i am getting the part made to fix that problem....... seeing as how logitech wont do it, i will, guess what logitech, it costs me 5 penny's to get a replacement, 5PENNY's thats chump change, so DONT BUY A NEW WHEEL IF YOU NEED YOURS FIXED I HAVE PARTS FOR FREE, should be getting them in the mail soon

also, you can extract these optical sensor disks from an old ball mouse, just make sure it has 60 slots on it

My G25 wheel has snapped inside the leather, this is a big problem and the wheel is unusable as a result. I really want to know if the wheel can be purchased as a spare part. my wheel has been out of warranty for a while now due to age.
thanks.
for reference the problem is identical to this: http://forums.logitech.com/t5/Steering-Wheels-Joys

Hi CharlesB,
I see that this thread is still active since the last post has been on the 19 of December of 2010.
I have a G25 that I purchased about 2 years ago, so I guess it is not under warranty anymore. The wheel has worked fine and I have been quite happy with it until recently, I plugged it into my computer and it went through it's calibration cycle much slower than usual. I also noticed a strong burning smell from the main housing of the wheel. I am suspecting one of the feedback motors may be damaged so I am trying to find information on where I can get a replacement.
I don't think they should be hard to find, even if I can get them from some other place. From what I have seen, this thread does not seem to have a definite answer as to where people can get replacement parts for a G25. I would like to have mine fixed instead of buying the latest G27 model. Thank you in advance.
