Hi everybody!
First of all I apologize for my poor english. My name is Daniel and I'm from Spain.
Recently I've installed Windows 7 x64 in a new computer and I can't make my old G25 to work. This wheel works flawlessly on Windows XP SP3.
I´ve been reading on the internet about the issue and nothing works for me. I have the ultimate drivers from Logitech for this wheel ( lgs510_x64). As I read, I installed correctly the drivers (as administrator) and even it worked correctly twice and the profiler let me put the correct settings ( 900º and FFeedback incl.) but in game it crash I don't know why after a few minutes and fails to detect when I restart.
Anyway it suceed only twice because the most of times it is detected as Logitech Driving Force USB and an error ocurred in the drivers installation and the profiler does recognize nothing conected.
I read the G25 has 3 modes, basic, extended and pro, I need extended (c299) not basic (c294 as a driving force) which is detected most of times.
On Linux some people use a program to change this but I don't know how to make on W7.
I appreciate your help. Thanx in advance.

Hi Danni66,
I see that you are having issues with your G25 on your new computer. Since you installed the correct software version and the wheel is not being properly recognized, I would try to clean install the software, maybe there is some software interference that is not letting the computer recognize the wheel. To do so you can try this:
- Uninstall the LGS.
- Download and save the LGS.
- Go to clean boot mode, steps 1 through 7.
- Once your computer restarts in selective start up mode, run the LGS to install it.
- Launch the software to check if it recognizes your G25 wheel.
- Go back to normal start up mode, the 4 steps to restore your system.
- Open the Device Manager and check if your Wheel is listed as a G25 under Sound Video and Game Controllers.
Looking forward to your reply,
Paulina

Hi Paulina.
Thx for your support.
I got my wheel to work and the process was the same as you appointed....BUT it was necessary to deactivate the Windows Update search for controllers BEFORE reinstall the software.
Now the wheel is OK....and me happy again ![]()
Best regards
