Hello everybody,
I wonder if there are users in this community, that play the game Black Shark 2 from DCS (Digital Combat Simulations) with the Logitech Flight Control set G940.
I noticed that when installing the Logitech Game Profiler, that the software does not recognize this game. Actually: it does not recognize the following games from DCS, which I own:
- DCS Black Shark 2
- DCS A-10C Warthog
As such, the logitech Profiler does not preconfigure the G940 with flight mappings, neither does it allow to customize it.
So my question is, does anybody on this forum have a profile for the Black Shark 2 that maps with the G940?
Of course, i could map it using the in-game configuration setup ...
Maybe a question to Logitech... How does the game profiler map these games. Note that at DCS (you can look on the DCS website), there is quite an evolution going on with new games and simulations that they are working on.
They will release soon the DCS P-51D mustang simulator, and DCS have complete revised their simulation engines, creating a "online world"... They will also release soon the Lock-On 3 series, which will run in this Online World.
I think Logitech, that this may be of interest to you. Since the G940 and other Logitech Game Simulation equipment will be used specifically by the audience buying these games.
My question is, how does the game profile keep up with these new games coming out? As i noticed, it seems the latest update dates from 2010 of the Game Profiler, or, am i wrong?
Happy to receive any additional input that may inform or help this community.
best regards,
Sven Van de Velde

Same issue for me, I think it has to do with the exe for DCS a10. Anyway, can't do anything with the profiler and inside the game itself, can't map trim to the metal POV "ministick" on the joystick. Would love to learn more about this, but the profile is very confusing.

Hello
Just a reminder that this is a User to User Forum. Logitech employees do respond sometimes, but you may get better results trying to call or email them.
Thanks

1) Such a shame, SimonDan, because this forum would be such a great way to collect love instead hate...
2) DCS games: in the official games forums there are profiles, I have just not tested them and I am doing my own, from inside the DCS games.
3) Game recognizing: I have moved all my games, including from Steam, to my D drive. I believe the Logitech software does not see much: of over 10 games it recognized, just 1....

Hello SimonDan,
Thank you for the head-up.
How can I email them? I thought that this post was the only option to reach out to them.
best regards,
Sven
