Hi jaykay88,
Logitech disabled my previous forum account, removed my new post, you may guess why..
No, this problem isn't fixed, will it be fixed: no. I spoke several men, not only the moderators/helpers here, and they all say: there isn't a fix on the way.
Your solution: spend some more and get a lot more. For example the Razer Onza, available in two flavours (not allowed to give direct link): google search . Does it have any deadzones: no. Does it have better cable quality: yes. Ofcourse there are other controllers available. If DirectInput is a must, get an old DirectInput controller. The Rumblepad 2 from Logitech does it's job very well too, although cable quality is worse. DirectInput can be easily emulated to XInput with x360ce , backwards compatibilty isn't there (XInput->DirectInput).

@jaykay88
Just like ViperXtreme wrote, "issue" is not fixed. I would like to add that, as you can read in these thread, it is not a bug at all, it is a feature and won't be fixed anyway. I still play on Rumblepad 2.
