Logitech Driving Force GT Wheel

hello guys i have a problem with my wheel i dont know what it is can someone explain this.

There is a minor defect - when you turn the wheel you can feel that is a bit heavy then normal.
Maybe is easy to fix but I just don't know how to fix it

Thanks

Re: Logitech Driving Force GT Wheel

Go to profiler or controller settings and slide down spring and damper to 0.

Tough turning wheel can be remedied in control panel game controler's properties with the centering retention in Forcefeedback game check the box and lower the percentage of resistance some games are 60 others towards 80 for a real feel resistance and spring back without the straining muscle to turn the wheel.

Some games say they have forcefeedback but isn't compatible with the wheel and acts wacky in the game, turning it off helps, along with the centering retention setting turned on sometimes still gives some slight  feedback more realistic to the turns and situations.

When pedals don't work most times it's the game requiring single axis for both brake and acceleration pedals I think that can be checks in the same control panel or in the  Logitech profiler under acceleration settings.

NFS, test drive 6, and Driver require single axis setting for the pedals, also games like Driver require setting the pedal (recording the pedal tap in your acceleration settings in ther profiler) to work in the game.
