Logitech G930 switch sound to regular speakers

Hi everybody,

I just got my logitech G930 headset yesterday and I was wondering if there is any easy way of switching sound from G930 to the speakers connected to the pc. Because if i switch my headset off it will still send sound through the wireless adapater but the headset won't receive because it is off.

After unplugging the wireless adapter the sound comes through my speakers but i don't want to constantly plugin and unplug the adapter because it will damage either the usb connecter of the adapter or my usb port.

Also is there anyway to fix the fact that my headset switches on while charging through the dock that comes with it. Even when i turn it off after 10 minutes it turns on again.

Thanks in Advance!

Re: Logitech G930 switch sound to regular speakers

For Windows 7/Vista: Right click on sound icon in the tray and click on "Playback Devices".

In a menu that opened right click on your speakers and select "Set as Default Device". When you're done using speakers and want to switch back to the headset repeat the steps but this time right click on "Logitech G930 Headset" and "Set as Default Device".

I don't remember how this is done in XP, but it should be similar process, you just switch the default device.
