I have been having constant issues with the Logitech Gaming Software ever since I installed it. I had just installed windows 7 and had just gotten the Logitech 5510 keyboard and that’s when I installed this software. To begin I have three pieces of hardware that this software is causing issues with I have the G510 keyboard, the G930 Headset, and the MX518 mouse. The issue I am having is that when the software first runs sometimes it will kill one of the three devices and give an error saying its an unrecognized USB device, however the device would work just fine prior to running the Logitech Gaming Software. The only fix I have found once this happens is to reboot the machine. Additionally since I installed this software the surround sound feather of the headset has not worked and the G-Keys on the headset do not do the features I have them set to do, they only do the default settings.
I have tried looking all over and not found anything that sounds like a solution or even a simple patch job so I am coming here to the source.

I have seen this problem ever since 8.20.74 but with my G19 until today 6/4/2012.
I have always ran with just the Gaming panel software on this system and nothing for the logitech mouse.
I could no longer stand not being able to use all my nice macros.
So I started experimenting by moving the keyboard to another system that had the G13 on it. It worked fine.
But the G13 did not worked has expected on this system.
I put everything back the way it was. Then this morning started to examine the processes that were running from logitech.
The only thing that was different was the other system was running SetPoint Event manager(Unicode).
I loaded the SetPoint software on this system and so far the macros are working.
The only strange thing is I have 4 systems, One of the other 3 does not have the afore mention software and the g13 works fine, with 8.20.74. But I have a logitech webcam on it.
I tried running the G13 with my G19 the other day and only one showed up with the Gaming Panel Software running and that was the G13.
I have 2 systems that run 8.20.74 with G13 but I have one that runs the Legacy version 3.06, there must be something in that system that dislikes 8.20.74.
I wonder if there anything that other Logitech software loads and the GPS (Gaming Panel Software ) uses if it is there and does not complain if it is not.
Just an update, i still have the problem of when I press a text block key the GPS drops the second of any like letter.
