Logitech Wingman Formula Force (red wheel) -- Driver support in Vista x64?

I'm very disappointed that I must trash my Logitech Wingman Formula Force racing wheel because Logitech has refused to support it in Vista x64.  I along with others still have the fantastic steering wheel which is in great condition and is frankly better designed that today's steering wheel.

Please Logitech, support this driving wheel!

Re: Logitech Wingman Formula Force (red wheel) -- Driver support in Vista x64?

I'm in the same boat with both the Wingman Formula Force and my Wingman Force (both work fine still on a 32-bit Vista).

I can understand it's difficult to make new drivers ect but if you guys manged to get it working under Vista 32-bit how can Vista 64-bit be that much harder?  To be honest I don't really care if the force feedback doesn't work correctly, and I could even life with-out it at all, as long as I could use it as a controller at least!

Why don't Logitech come out with a driver who will make it work...My Formula force still like new...

I'm disapointed of Logitech.

Hsa Logitech ever responded to these posts?

I'd love to use my Wheel with Win7 64 bit. I'm just looking at all my peripherals, they're all logitech. Keyboard, mouse, webcam, 5 logitech squeezeboxes, and I'm after the 940 joystick set-up. Do Logitech support all their products in 64 bit or what?

Re: Logitech Wingman Formula Force (red wheel) -- Driver support in Vista x64?

I HAD the same problem as you guys. What a shame Logitech wont release drivers for the wheel, after all, how difficult can it be for them to make new drivers, especially since they see that people are requesting it. I googled a little, and came across this post: http://superuser.com/questions/253143/how-do-i-get-the-logitech-wingman-formula-force-to-work-in-win...

where they use a Saitek driver as a work around.

My Wingman Forumula Force is now installed without problems on my w7 64bit. I just calibrated it in windows and it detects all the controls and buttons too!

Now its up to the real challenge. Lets launch a racinggame...

Re: Logitech Wingman Formula Force (red wheel) -- Driver support in Vista x64?

hiya, I was wondering whether you'd gotten any further with a workaround driver for W7 64 bit?

I just purchased my wheel second hand having not checked the driver issue first:smileysad: and am now stuck with a lovely doorstop! I can't seem to get the Saitek workaround either as i can't find the driver for the R 440 on Saitek's site?

any help would be gratefully received!

Thanks
