I don't get the LED light lighting up and my computor doesn't recegnize for either setting could i have help please?

I got exactly the same problem.

I contacted Logitech Support, explained that my Windows 7 64bit PC doesn't  detect the controller (Uknown device) and they tried several things which didn't work.

And guess what they said?

Well, we've been getting ALOT of these problems. We recommend you return your F310 controller and ask for a refund.

Logitech support, come up with a solution, so unprofessional...

Just bought a F310 and woudnt you just know my laptop knows that its there, but wont work. Can someone please share some input on how to get gamepad working? Thanks in advance. :-)

EVERYONE:

Please try going to http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-us/p/xbox-360-controller-for-windows/52A-00004

and in the support tab downloading your driver.

It would appear logitech didnt put the base drivers in their pack.

After doing that, unplug your controller if you havent already, and plug it back in.

Worked for me after much frustration

I did this and now it tells me to switch to Directinput. When I do, it apparently isn't connected. Now what?

I have a Windows XP Home Edition.
