Profiler sometimes crashes and LOOSES all my custom profiles!

I have a DFGT Wheel, and sometimes I unplug it from my PC to use on my PS3, and when I plug it back in to my PC the profiler software will crash with an exception error. This isn't so bad cause I can just restart it. What is really bad is that it will often loose any custom profiles I set up for my games, making me have to recreate those. I have even had it loose my profiles just from restarting my PC sometimes.

Thats the main problem, but I also would like to see the profiler get updated so that the paddle shifter buttons are easier to click on in the Profiler main window. As of right now, the drop down boxes for them are out of the screen in the profiler, and can't be seen. The little blue line that points to the box/button on the main profiler page is pointing from the picture of the wheel to a spot above the entire window's space, out of view. I can get to the buttons by hovering my mouse around the wheel picture to just the right spot, but its very annoying, and an obvious glitch. The "PS" "Start" and "Select" buttons don't let me program them for anything as well. They don't have any drop down box for changing their functions on the PC Profiler window.

Last, on very RARE occasions, the wheel will register a random button press that was nowhere near my hands while turning the wheel quickly. I'll sometimes countersteer quickly, but then have my camera change, or the game will pause/etc.. Again, that is a very rare problem though, and probablyhappens less than once a month or less, and I use the wheel a LOT for PC racing simulations (iRacing/Rfactor/Richard Burns Rally)

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers and software several times properly (restarting in between and such). The main issue I really want fixed is profiles disapearing, and crashing on disconnect/reconnection.

I'm using Windows Vista 64bit, 4GB of ram, 1 Geforce X260, Intel E8400, 750i SLI Motherboard, and X-fi Pro sound. I also use a Logitech MX5000 Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard/Mouse combo (which has its own problems from time to time...)
