I have been stuck in the RH seat for many many hours, trying to set up G940, (an unexpected Xmas pressie), for an accurate and consistent pleasant experience flying my old Cessna and Maule. I am sorry to say that the software prog is still buggy and untidy not-withstanding the recent updates. One just has to read the prog instructions which are on line and still after 3 years, contain 20 or so typo errors which could have been fixed in 10 mins.Could not care less.....
Sorry, the hardware is good, feels like the real thing but at 84 I cannot wait any longer..Going to Weston in May to see what new goodies Saitek and good old CH have to offer. Hopefully they will have force feedback. It is a lovely feeling drifting off the runway landing on 27 at EGBJ in a Severn gale. If my graphics card supported game ports I would still be using my CH yoke

This is a mostly a peer to peer forum, not a Logitech technical support forum.
I love it. When we want information about a $300 product, we get this kind of a response.
But when someone asks a question about an HDMI cable, http://forums.logitech.com/t5/PC-Gaming/Is-the-Log
Good job Logitech! Can we make it any more obvious that your customers are being ignored.

Thanks to the G940 users that are still trying to help out. Much appreciated! As a recent owner of the G940, it'll be my last Logitech product unless things improve. As it stands, it's not a total loss for me, although only thanks to the efforts of user posts both here and over at SimHQ. Thanks again for posting about the user mods to fix this thing. All I need now is a step by step with pics for adding the new controller board, and I'll be a lot more confident of not bricking the whole setup if I feel the need to do that.
At this stage, I'm going to do the following:
a) open the throttle and remove that screw, or put a larger washer in between it so the cable doesn't catch, or even wire in some extra slack if I'm not happy with that, and
b) hope like heck that revised firmware DOES come out to fix this reversal rubbish (if not, aftermarket controller board here I come, and bye bye Logitech for any future purchase).

Thanks artist!! My German is a little rusty, but hopefully I can translate it online somewhere.
Lynn - the link is the word 'Here' where artist said "here you are... good luck". Here it is in full:
