i am like a deer in the headlights with this control.  i have loaded the disk more than once, i have stuck the small clip enclosed with controls in every oriface in the computer and on the cord enclosed with controls.  i can at times hear some response from my top of the line made for game play Gateway notebook.  should i just send to the company and let them comfigure it for me????? this the second control i have bought that i don't know how to work.  thanks for any suggestions!!!

Hi, I purchased the gamepad, wish I read more before. I am experiencing the same issues - lags in the middle of a game, which can pretty much ruin the experience. So I filled the RMA. After a month, the gamepad returned to me as it was with a simple explanation: "the fault described not found." Oh, wait a moment, not as it was, but with few scratches. Yep, great service. Would have done better without the RMA. I liked your products, Logitech. This changed my mind.

the problem is fixable with a firmware that adjust the frequencies in the nano receiver, why logitech don't do this?? ALL F710 ARE BUGGY!

Hello, after a few months of no replies i´d like to share my experiences with the gmaepads and the contact to my local support. They told me that it must be some kind of defect with my controllers and that they will send me some new ones. Well the new ones really had another version number or at least it was another charge, nevertheless they still suffered the very same bug. If I play alone i had just a few reconnects per hour but playing with two or more results in an almost unplayable reconnection experience. So for me logitech had been a qualtiy producer, and somehow it still is. I could imagine that the problem doesnt even is a logitech made one. I guess the wireless usb/bluetooth - modul (2,4GHz) they are working with isnt produced by logitech, they just buy and build them in - therfore the firmware running on these modules is not written by logitech - so no logitech-firmware could fix this problem - but as a company like logitech they should have the power to force them to have a look at what is going wrong with the gamepads. For me no firmwareupdate will fix my frustration - I bought (warning! advertisement ) some Xbox360 controllers from microsoft and uhh what a surprise - no disconnects at all. Sofar  change - if they dont want to keep you as a customer. Hope you enjoyed Christmas - happy new year to all of you!

Hi, This replay is for djsolidsnake86 who asked me to share my experience Well, my experience is that we both ( me and my brother) returned our controller and got xbox ones. It works like a charm for my brother. But I actually couldn't get used to it. So I returned it and got the F710 back. I think the new one I got is way better. Plus I'm using the extender cable as standard now.

I get slight hiccups and input lag at times. This even happens when I'm within 4 feet of the receiver. It works perfectly only when I'm pointing it directly at the receiver. The Xbox 360 Wireless Controller works a lot better.

F710 is not worth any money, you cannot call it 'wireless' controller because it loses connection. I got it back from the service and nothing has changed. This gamepad is quite good but disconnecting is unforgivable... And now i have a problem to get my money back

I've found that taping the receiver on to the controller has been working so far, haven't gotten a single dissconection. This leads me to believe that someone may be able to fix the problem by boosting the signal from the controller or something. 

Anywho, this is what i'm doing with the controller. Obviously it makes the controller wired but at least it works. I don't mind as I'm right beside my computer.

Btw, I don't think that the issue is caused by the driver, as I've run the official F710 driver and the Xbox 360 Controller driver (which works with the controller perfectly) and it still disconnects.
