wireless interference or just bad logitech rumblepad 2's?

Hi, i have alot of wireless accessories on my setup (wireless router, cordless phone, logitech mx3200 combo, cordless rumblepad 2) and i didnt have a problem with any of them until recently with the logitech cordless rumblepad 2.

I own two of them (only plug in 1 at a time though) and have tested them with different recievers but they both act the same way, and they do this on both xp and vista. When i am playing games the buttons stick, or randomly press. for example in a racing game, ill be driving in a straight line, then all of a sudden my horn goes off, or the controller decides it wants to sharply turn and hold me left or right into the wall for a second. doesnt matter what game, i get random presses of buttons every minute or so.

So what is the most likely? could it be wireless interference if so from what? or did i manage to get not one but two defective rumblepads?

anyone know if this is fixable.... thx

Re: wireless interference or just bad logitech rumblepad 2's?

Unfortunately for both of use, we bought this crappy gamepad. After reluctantly buying the cordless version after my original rumblepad 2 went wacko, I found out it is simpley a standard issue with these controllers. My buttons don't do the above, but the analog sticks are completely useless. The left, and most important will not go up, and the right will not go left. Nothing will fix them, short of throwing another $30 down the drain on another.

Re: wireless interference or just bad logitech rumblepad 2's?

yea i figured as much, i actually own 4 of these controllers (yea i asked myself why i bought 2 more when the first 2 acted this way, no idea why) and they all behave like this. since i posted however ive tried them on their own in places with no other wireless functions and i still get random button presses. its for a split second, but its enough to activate something in a game that can ruin it. I know other people have had this problem from looking over the forums and they never get an answer. I guess thats because it actually is a crappy gamepad that we shouldnt expect to function correctly o_O
