I am having the same problem! Was searching for a solution and ended up here...mine was bought in Feb so about the same age and not used much either.
Any luck with customer services?

Is this the same problem with the DFGT? I posted on this issues some time back, but there was no solution ever posted other than disconnect reconnect.
Does the fix involve an improved part? or just replacing the current one with one that may warp later on? My unit did this from day 1

So CharlesB - what's the scoop? Is it a recognized hardware problem affecting the DFGT pedals as well? Covered by 1 year warranty?

Shouldn't matter - warranty date is based on date sold, not date of manufacture - this is quoted from Logitech's warranty- see answer 3219:
Logitech warrants that your Logitech hardware product shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for the length of time set forth in the warranty periods below, beginning from the date of purchase.
Was your unit purchase date less than 1 year and they still told you that you had to buy new?
