Hi,
I just receive a Driving Force GT as a Gift from Amazon. The Wheel doesn't work at all even if all joystick's button works fine. So as I don't spend any money I decided to figure out what's going wrong. The clue was : Bad initialization, the wheel seems to block, no roll from one side to the other.
I found some tutorials about how to disassemble logitech's wheel and here is what I found (don't do that if you wan't to keep your warranty !) :
So, ok... I used to made some electronics when I was younger and I have some doubts about this PCB... IMHO the receiver is realy misplaced to read the coding wheel signals...
If so, this may explain why a lot of DFGT don't work when they're just out of the box.
Am I right ?
Thanks.
