Driving Force Pro with GT4 issue

Let me start by saying I have been using my DFP on my PS3 to play all different types of racing games including GT4 for well over a year and a half.  The other day, I started up my PS3 with GT4 loaded up and ready to go just as I always do.  The wheel was plugged in and all cable were connected just as they always are.  The wheel powered up and calibrated upon starting the PS3 just as it always does.  Here is where the problem occured.  When I started GT4 from the menu, the game started and the wheel seemed to power off.  The led lights went out and none of the buttons would function.  Has anyone else had anything like this happen to them and if so how did you fix it?  I quit the game and the lights come back on the wheel has power again.  There was no software update between the last time it worked and now and it still works with other games.

Re: Driving Force Pro with GT4 issue

Hi,

Can you try to unplug it and replug it to the USB port?

Re: Driving Force Pro with GT4 issue

Tried unplugging and replugging USB port and power plug and nothing happened.  It's like loading the game is cutting the power to the wheel.  It may be an issue with the game or the PS3 but that seems strange as I have been using this combination for quite a while.
