When the system start up and game loaded, the wheel will keep turning and turning. The pedal and shift is work but wheel is not responding to the game at all. Please Help!!!

i have the same issue! and i just tested it on my PC, everything works EXCEPT the wheel. Hell even the LED lights work. I emailed logitech support through their form yesterday but i have YET to get a response. i feel like i wasted my money..there are NO FAQs and NO troubleshooting tips on the G27 support page. what the (expletive) is that about!?!

Oh my, I just bought ours this afternoon and we too have the same problem =( I called our local support and tried every setting we could try in the PS3 and GT5 Prologue (even other racing games), but it really would not respond... everything else worked EXCEPT the steering wheel and it's buttons, although all the lights in the wheel were on. now i have no choice but to return it and get our money back =( we'll do that first thing tomorrow.

Has anyone found a solution to this yet? I'm having the same problem. I plugged everything in and just the steering wheel doesn't work (I didn't make any settings changes). Is there anything you have to set in GT5 Prologue or PS3 itself to correctly recognize the steering wheel?

same problem here... i gave g27 (bought with playseats) for xmas to my father and the stupid steering wheel doesn't work at all (everything else like pedals, shifter, wheel buttons, etc work perfectly)... and the wheel doesn't spin when I start my pc (windows 7 if it matters)... Also I was trying to download latest Wingman Profiler from logitech download page but there is none for g27 (there is one for g25 but just for windows 2000 O_o)... What the hell is going on?
btw I have g25 which works without any problems...

Seems like a lot of wheels in here aren't set as controller 1. Try turning off the console, and then powering on the console using the power button on the PS3. Use the wheel to select and control the game.
OR use the PS3 controller's PS button to change the gamepad assignment.
