It used to work, but now my PS3 (older model - not the Slim) won't power up when the activity is selected. I've reset to the defaults in the programming to no avail.
Here's the real oddity: Its definitely connecting though. If I manually turn the PS3 on, I can still control it. The remote works fine for everything else with the PS3, including powering off. Its just that it will simply not power it on.
Any help troubleshooting this would be greatly appreciated! LIke I said, its been great and has worked relatively flawlessly up until now and seemingly randomly has stopped working (no new programming, no PS3 updates, no power outages, etc.)
Thanks in advance!
Richard

Just some more info as I try to puzzle out what is going on... I have noticed that when I use the "Help" utility on the Harmony 1000 it says, "Ensure the game console (with DVD) is on". That is new... It used to step me through the process of turning on the PS3 just like any other device. Something like, "Is the game console on?" [yes] or [no]... and then, "now is the game console on?"
It no longer does that... It doesn't appear to be sending the power on code, and now (newly) the power off code at all anymore.
I've also deleted the activity and re-added it numerous times now and I keep getting the same issues.
