Just got a G27 wheel delivered today and had a quirk that I'm trying to decide if it is software or hardware related..
When using manual shift mode, with the clutch enabled, it's nearly impossible to start in first gear and quickly shift to second. This applies to any gear after first, using normal shifting methods (clutch depression, etc). It simply ignores the shift to second gear and stays in neutral. I can shift slowly into the gears, just not quickly.
However, once I'm already in a gear other than first, shifting quickly becomes a non-issue (between first and second, or any other gear), nor does the issue present itself when the clutch is not enabled.
Anyone else have this experience? Or should I send my wheel back?
