How can I use 2 cordless action controllers on PS2?

I bought a second cordless action controller to use with a PS2 (an older model), but when both are connected, neither works.  They work fine when either is connected by themselves or with a wired controller.  Is their an interference issue?

They're on the same channel. To resolve this, plug both controllers in, and then reconnect ONLY ONE receiver/controller pair. It should find the next open channel automatically.

Re: How can I use 2 cordless action controllers on PS2?

Alright, sorry for posting on you post, but i am having the same kind of problem. It used to be that when i had a single controller in by itself, it would work fine, but then when i used just the wireless controller and a wired Sony Controller that they wouldn't work. So, i went and got a second cordless logitech action controller thinking that two of the same controller would work better, but i'm having the same problems. By the way, this only happens when i am playing Madden 2010 for PS2. It allows me to choose my plays and set my lineups and everything, then i can select which player i want to use, but then once the play starts, the PS2 takes over and it controls the rest of the play and i can't move at all. Also, sometimes that player i'm controlling will just slowly move right. I have tried the L1 and L2 and the R1 and R2 thing with the batteries, and i have clicked the buttons on the receiver individually and then clicked a face button on the controller and they still don't work. I would be VERY grateful if you could tell me what to do to fix this.
