Hello,

I bought today a Logitech R800 Presenter after 3 years of successful usage of Logitech Cordeless 2,4Ghz Presenter.

For a strange reason the blank screen button does not work with Microsoft Office 2007. Any Tricks ?

Yes & No

It is a Logitech bug that randomly appears. The remote control mapping is made on an US Keyboard. To solve the problem, you need to run your keyboard during your presentation in US mapping....and it works fine. So I use the language bar to switch from US to FR, when I need to use the remote control.

Just got the R800 myself, I use the EN/US as default logical keyboard on my computer but R800 "blank screen" is still not working with PowerPoint 2007. I have PP2003 on the same computer and it works.

For you who had the problem, were you able to fix it with the advice given ? Can you please detail what you would have done as it does not work for me ?

I looked into it and it seems to be PowerPoint that is playing tricks, not the R800.

With PowePoint 2003, it works with the US keyboard layout, not with the FR.

With PowerPoint 2007, it works with neither.

With both PowerPoints, the keys (directly on the keyboard) to be pushed to get the "back screen" are not right.

With PP 2003, I need tp pus ; in the FR keyboard (. would be a shift . And . in the  US keyboard (only one that works with the R800.

With PP 2007, I need to push Shift ; in the FR keyboad and Shift . in the US !!!!

The r800 is always sending the right key (.), tested in word and powerpiont in edit slide mode.

This being said I am not able tofix it.... Sad.
