Hello,

We use an LCD TV for Presentations and found out that our current laser pointer does not show up on the LCD screen when we try to point out key facts during our presentations. Its almost as if the Laser light is absorbed instead of reflected.

Do either the R400 or R800 work when used on an LCD tv for presentations? I called Support and the Tech said he guessed it would work but never tried it and spending $100 on the R800 just to find out it too doesn't work is not an option.

Are their any other issues I may be missing with using a laser pointer on a TV screen weather it possibly be damaging the screen ( So far I read NO to this one) or worse reflect it back into the staff's eyes?

I am also encountering the problem of a red laser pointer not being visible on the glass covering of an LCD TV. I would like to use the TV as a monitor for PowerPoint presentations.

Perhaps a green laser pointer or a brighter device would work better. Another alternative might be a screen cover that is more reflective.
