An observation by a longtime Logitech fan and user.
I received today a Logitech 2.4 Presenter remote which I purchased online. Now I should know better since I've been on computer since 1978 and have watched the progression of every piece of hardware and software for all of these years; especially for the MAC.
I am in awe of how well every purchase I have made with logitech works as advertised, is supported with what may be the best support service in the industry.
But I am totally confused by the fact that my new Presenter does not work with a MAC not even with the virtual PC featured turned on.
When I look on this site for the reason why not I am told " Unfortunately, it will not. Since nearly all business presenters use PowerPoint on Windows PCs, we are focusing on the largest presentation market.
Now wait a minute... I have been delivering live presentations using slideshows on MACs since 1989. I use 3 Logitech Mice, A harmony Remote, and a Logitech CAM with my current MACs. There are at least 50,000,000 MACs in use today... and you guys say the market isn't big enough to create a lousy driver to make your latest winning product work with MAC or at least with the MAC Intel machines?
Sorry but it just does not COMPUTE!!!
I'm a big boy and I have no interest in boycotting such a great company, but if anyone at Logitech reads this please reconsider your position.
Thanks for allowing me a forum to state my thoughts.
Respectfully AntonZ ![]()

Fully agree too. There are always more mac users using their macs for their proffessional work. Most Logitech mouses work with mac os x instantly, so it shouldn't be very difficult to support the presenter.
Logitech should really take this serious.

I would be a very happy camper if they would allow it to work with PowerPoint in Mac Office... or even with my virtual application, Fusion which allows me to use Windows XP on my Mac. I recently led discussions with PowerPoint support along with twelve other Discussion Leaders. We were all asked to bring our Laptops and a projector since we were each presenting in one of as many different breakout rooms.
Here I was with this new and delightful Logitech Presenter which I could not use with my Mac. I was, however able to use it with the other Discussion leaders PCs.

I have been running my own business for years, and we are an Apple shop across Graphics Design, and IT Consulting. We use almost all Logitech in the office and mice on the road (still have a stock of the VX). Somewhat humorous that we have to use MICROSOFT presenters because they work fine on a Mac running OS X or Windows, while Logitech can't get that part to work. Weird, kinda?

Hi
Its funny reading this since I have been using the Logitech 2.4GHz Cordless presenter with Keynote on a Mac for a couple of years now - with no problems. Until today. Suddenly it no longer works. Anyone else had the same?
I was messing around with the timer for the first time today and after that it stopped working. Any thoughts?
Dave
