There have been lots of posts on this forum regarding support for Mac. I've been checking monthly for an update from Logitech and today I once again saw nothing.
Logitech - Many users are switching to Mac and love your products. Can you please do me and everyone else a favor by supporting them on the second largest O/S? I have this great unit that is a paperweight and would love to make use of it.
Feel free to contact me anytime.

Hi rev,
I understand your plight. The issue with this product is it is EOL (End of Life), and there are no plans to update any software that it uses.
It should work as a speakerphone in your OS. It is the Call Central features that are not available.

Even if it did work as a speakerphone, the lights on the unit flash obnoxiously between Red and Green without a proper driver installed. I understand the unit is EOL and probably not in your best interests, but as far as customer satisfaction goes, many of us would like a solution.

Hi rev,
Since we use the USB driver from the Operating System, it would seem that your interests would be best served by Apple in this case.

I have the device working under Linux, so I know what's necessary at a low level to get it working. Theoretically it should be quite easy to do MacOS support as well, but I know nothing about MacOS system/driver development. If you are a MacOS programmer, or know someone who is, I'd be happy to supply the necessary technical details. See http://ozlabs.org/~dgibson/home/quickcall.html for a little more information and my contact information.
