Boxee Box Problem!!!

I recently purchased a Harmony 650. Set up using MyHarmony went fine and I added several devices including a D-Link Boxee Box. The problem arose when I later added an Activity which would control viewing using the Boxee. The Activity setup went fine until the final step (Finish) which then gave me a 'Server Error' message and then asked me to log in after submitting an error report. Repeating the process about ten times and then trying it on a different computer yielded the same result. This morning Tech Support informed me that the Boxee CAN'T be controlled with the 650. Two obvious questions arise:

1. Why did the software allow me to add the Boxee as a device?

2. Why was the error message totally unrelated to the problem thereby causing me to waste about an hour trying to set up the activity?

Fortunately I bought the remote at Costco so there will be no trouble returning it but the whole experience was very annoying.

Re: Boxee Box Problem!!!

The Boxee Box uses an Radio Frequency (RF) control - The Logitech is Infra Red (IR). Most all Boxee Box functionality is available using a Manta TR1 IR controller for the Boxee Box (Manta TR1 for Boxee Box available from twistedmelon-dot-com). Attach the Mantra to one of the Boxee's USB ports. You will still need the Boxee RF controller to turn the Boxee Box ON (When the Boxee is OFF, so is the USB port).
