Hi there,
Apologies if this has been previously posted, been reading up for weeks now and have been unable to find a solution, so hopefully someone can help!
Remote: Previously a Harmony 525, but upgraded to a Harmony One+ in the last few days.
I have a Samsung UE46ES6300 and due to the nature of my setup, I have all my devices plugged in to it (via a splitter) via a single HDMI input in the TV (HDMI1). This means, all my remote activities are set to set the TV input to HDMI1, which works absolutely fine. The devices I have however need to have a different source *name* set. So for example, for my Sky HD Box, i have the source name for the HDMI1 input set to "Satellite STB", for my PS3 I have it set to "Game", and for my HTPC, I have it set to "DVI PC".
The problem is, is that I cannot find any way whatsoever of getting the remote to do the above automatically for me when I start an activity. To get into the source name screen, you have to send three IR commands (InputNext, Tools, Select), then scroll up and down through the list using the directional keys on the TV to find the correct input, then send two commands to leave the screen (Select, Return).
To get round the problem for now, i have created 2 sequences which I add to a custom button (a Input Change sequence to get into the source names screen, and a Input Select sequence which then selects the input once highlighted and closes the menu screen). This works ok, but means every time i change activities from say Watch TV to Play Game, I have to manually change this source name! I was wondering if there was anybody clever enough out there to find a solution!
One solution I thought of was creatting a second dummy TV device, and setting the inputs on that to match the Source Names instead, however it only allows me to configure one command to be sent to the TV to get to the input list (or in my case the Source Name list), whereas I need to be able to send 3 commands.
Thanks in advance for any help ![]()

Are you using the 7.7 software or MyHarmony.com to program your One+ ?

Stay with the 7.7 software, there is less programming ability using MyHarmony. Go to Devices, Your TV, Settings, Adjust inputs, check to see if you are using Method 2 for input selection. I would also avoid re-naming your inputs, this has caused problems with going to the correct input. Users have re-named input with Cable, or STB, and the remote thinks that it has to go to a channel number rather than an input. Also be sure that your Power On delay for the TV is set high enough, one of my Samsungs needs a 13000ms delay or it will not go to the correct input at startup.

Changing of inputs aren't really the problem, as like i say all my devices are going through HDMI1, so my remote is always changing to the correct input every time (i.e. just leaving it on HDMI1). The issue is how to configure the remote to aumatically go into the Source Name screen and changing th source name, which there seems to be no way of doing as far as I see. The reason this is so important, is that its important that HDMI1 is set to "DVI PC" mode when i'm on my HTPC, otherwise the screen is not very sharp, and the display doesnt "fit" the screen, i.e. it overlaps off the edges of the TV. Setting it to DVI PC mode fixes that. I cannot leave HDMI1 in DVI PC mode however as when I do i get no sound when i switch back to my PS3 and Sky HD, hence the need to change the source name when i change activities.
