Devices:

TV,  AVR, Blu-ray player, cable box, DVD-VCR combo.

Everything is plugged into the AVR, so this means the only input used on the TV is HDMI1. I'm using 7.7 and have yet to find a way when setting up activities to stop it from changing or verifying the input on the TV. It doesn't cause too much of an issue, except having to wait while the activity runs.

I remember it was an option using the web software to not change the input, but there was some reason I ended up using 7.7 instead. Of course, I can't remember why now.

Is it possible in 7.7 to not change the input?

Since you are only using the HDMI1 input on your TV, gor to Devices, Your TV, Settings, Adjust Inputs, select Method 2 and reduce the llist of inputs to just the HDMI1 input
