I have scoured the web and the Logitech site trying to find a fix for this problem.
This error message presents itself on multiple PCs with multiple OSes for many many people. Just Google the error message.
The SW has worked on the same PCs previously; no firewall changes, so AV changes. I've reinstalled the SW, rebooted the PC.
I've a Logi Harm. 700
Win7 32 bit
Latest greatest SW (downloaded today 4/8)
I've disabled AV
I have no DNS entries blacklisted
Please help!!!
Jim

The MyHarmony/MyRemoteSetup sites appear to be down. I'm hoping somebody notices on this Easter weekend and gets it set back up so I can finish setting up my Harmony 1100. ![]()

Just another reason why the software configurator of this remote s.u.c.k.s so very, very much.
Really, the fact it requires a connection to an external website to configure the remote is very bad design - right now I need to set it up so I can use the thing, and I find that I can't, because it thinks the internet is down. Not even a backup site, or even an oflfine mode!
Really Logitech, the remote is good, but the software is the pits.
- Badly designed,
- incredibly slow,
- tedious to use,
- poorly executed,
- terrible form-based input is a throwback to 1990,
- it really,
- really,
- really
- su.cks
- gargantuan hairy balls.
So very disappointed with this - glad I didn't pay for it (it was a gift) becuase otherwise I would be livid.
Epic fail, completely and utterly.
Lazy Logitech - if only your software teams were as good as your hardware teams.

Same problem here. I was about to start tinkering with firewall settings, but then I realized myremotesetup.com is down. This is a perfect example of how "the cloud" is not always the best solution. Why not save settings locally and just use the cloud as a backup?

Yeah same here. I just got an Apple TV on Friday and I have been working on it here and there over the weekend with it to get it working the way I want. I had time this morning to finish working on but now because the website is down I have to wait. Probably till next weekend because making the changes is a trial and error crap shoot and is extremely time consuming. I wasted an hour on my PC today thinking I had changed some network connection. How hard would it have been for logitech to send out an email notifing account holders of this so they dont waste time? I guess life could be worse. I have a job, a home, and food. I will deal with it. Life goes on.
Rant is now over and I hope they have this fixed soon.

Même problème; j'ai cru que mon logiciel inutilisé depuis près d'un an était hors service; je l'ai téléchargé à nouveau
Miracle, pendant que j'écrivais ce message la connexion a été rétablie.
Good luck for all of you.
