I have beeen trying literaly for day trying to make this thing work. Have tried both MyHarmony and more recently 7.7. I have a Samsung TV, a Samsung DVD, A Samsung SoundBar, and a Comcast Motorola DVR. The basic problem is that the 650 is incapable of correctly selecting the input on the TV. Latest thing is that it sometimes lands on the right one, but then it doesn't complete the selection. I have taught it the Select command, and everything else. I have done the big reset several times. No help - BTW you have to go to MyHarmony to get the reload started.
I will return this monster soon.

First, be sure that Anynet is turned off on your Samsung devices, next you may have to increase the Power On delay for the TV, this is done using the remote, hold the Help button for 5 seconds to get to the advanced settings area, select your Tv, then select the Power On delay. Also if you are useing the 7.7 software, you should be using Method 2 for input selection even though your original remote only has a Source button. For the Power on delay, I have 2 Samsung TV, one requires a 13000ms power on delay, and the other a newer model only need a 10500ms power on delay

+1 on AnyNet
Whenever I powered down my Blu-Ray, the TV would switch to coax. :-(
I disabled "Anynet+" on the TV, and the issue went away. (Menu / System / Anynet)
TV : Samsung PN59D7000
Blu-Ray : Samsung BD-D5500

Appreciate your help, but So far no luck. I don't understand how to set up in Method 2. 3 seems correct to me.
Anynet was on on TV, and I turned it off. Delay hasn't helped so far.
Input selection fails because the sequemce does not execute the select (or Enter) button.

No the indication that Method 3 is correct for Samsung, is incorrect and we have been trying for the last 5 years to have Logitech remove that statement from the setup. To use Method 2 go to Devices, Your TV, Settings, Adjust Inputs, select Method 2, on the next page be sure that the list of Inputs matches that of your TV, on the next page be sure that the correct command is assigned to each input. You can test available inputs, by putting your Harmony remote in device mode, select your TV, then look on the LCD screen for commands that start with Input****, test each one noting which input each command takes you to. Use those commands when setting up Method 2.

Well, that helped a lot. It still picks the wrong input (Stays on the previous one) but one click on HELP and it is corrected. I'll keep trying - next task is to have it respond to the colored buttons.
BTW - there's no INPUT USB, but that doesn't really matter.
It's as if the remote doesn't try to change the TV input until HELP is pressed.

I keep trying. Everything works, including the "discrete" commands to select inputs, BUT it is as if the commmands are never executed in the sequences. Just clicking the HELP buton once makes the proper selection, like it now executes the selection. I have tried tinkering with the power on delay in case the TV is not on when the command is executed. Is that posssible? NowI have returned the power on delay to the default - 8.5 secs.
This thing does not work successfully enough for me to give it to my wife to use!!!

OK When you first start the tv you need the power on delay. Then you need to modify one of the other timings. I am not at home at the moment and cannot remmber which one it is. But you have a power on delay, an interkey delay and an inter input delay I think.
The reason is that some devices, tv's etc will accept a signal for a command but will ignore all other signals until it has finished processing that command. This sounds to me like your problem. Try playing with the other delays.
My process was to add a very long delay initially then if it works, gradually reduce it until it stops working, then go back to the previous value.

I believe it's working OK now - Last thing I changed was the TV ON delay to 20 secs! Just watching, it doesn't seem to wait, but it eventually changes the input.
Thanks for your help. I had tried to get help from Logitech, but they NEVER mentioned the problem with the input discretes (Method 2)

Now what? Now the soundbar doesn't turn off or on properly. It takes two presses of help - No to get it to do it. I have tinkered with delays and taught the Power Toggle command to no avail. The Power Toggle command has the same problem.
Last time I opened it to add some favorites, it told me that there were changes to boith the DVD and the Soundbar. I accepted these but had to delete the old ones to get within four. I suspect the dartabase, but Logitech doesn't seem to understand.
