Here is some background. I have a Logitech Harmony 525 Remote.

Ill list my hardware and the way its hooked up atm.

TV – LG42LM6200 - TV goes to Input Screen, does not select the Input but, Sarah Lyn of Logitech Customer Care fixed that for me.
AMP – Denon AVR-591
PVR – TiVo
HTPC – Running Plex
Bluray – Samsung 3D

I only have the TV and Amp plugged into each other using the ARC connection.
Then all the other items into the AMP.
HDMI 1 – BluRay
HDMI 2 – TiVo
HDMI 3 – HTPC – Plex server
HDMI 4
HDMI ARC – TV

I have this working at least with the amp powered up.

Looks like I have to at least have the TiVo going to the TV as I cannot select anything without the Amp powered up.

My attempt at troubleshooting has been to try with the Amp in Tuner mode as I often start it that way.

And I find that when I select any of the Activities that Don't use the Amp they do not show a picture on the TV.

Also when swapping back to the Tuner the Amp looks to be selecting TV in standby mode and this is the kicker it then turns off as soon as the TV powers down.

So I think some type of scripting with the Logitech Harmony Remote is needed to get past where I am at.

Anyone have some usfull pointers on this ?

Prob an HDMI CEC issue with the TV or the Dennon reciever, I would disable these features and see if you are still encountering the same issue

Ok I tryed as you say to turn off the ARC (HDMI-CEC) on my BD Player, Not change.

I cannot find a way to turn off Arc on the Denon, and as always No power to the Amp no Pic on BD Player or Plex.

But the Menu on the Amp always shows TV control is – Arc -

Options on the amp come from this Order

Menu gets me 5 options 4 Manual and 5 Input setup are the only things of use here.

4: gets me 4 more of witch only 2 HDMI setup is of use.
Auto Lipsync on or off no biggie here.
HDMI Audio Out TV or AMP have tryed both no change.

HDMI Control On or Off
On gets me 2 more Options
Standby Source : Last or HDMI 1 – 4 Tried all no change.
Power Off Control : Off All or Video Again Tried all no change.

The weird thing is when I exit this Menu the Amp default to TV and this is the Problem.

If I can find a way to change the logging out of the AMP to TV or the Amps TV option to disable ACR, If so I think Id have this fixed.
