I bought this blu-ray player and, to my surprise, the database that Logitech has for it doesn't allow one touch for things like subtitles, and I found that the remote doesn't support sequences so something as simple as launching Netflix requires several steps. Does anyone know how I can get my 1100 remote to turn on subtitles and/or Netflix with a single button press?

No, since the 1100 doesn't support Sequences, there is no way to create a one button press to launch subtitles or Netflix.

Actually, the BDT320 remote has a Netflix button. So if it's missing from the harmony database, just use the DMP-BDT110 profile since that model has all the same commands as the 320 plus the Netflix code, or just learn it. Then you'll have one step access to Netflix.
As for a captions macro (sequence), you're out of luck. If you're unhappy about that, please tell logitech. Perhaps if they get enough complaints they will eventually listen.
