Remote Control Software

I've been running myself ragged trying to figure this out. I want to be able to control Plex as well as open it from the remote. After much trying I finally came across the "Microsoft Windows Media Center SE" device setup. This worked great for opening the application, unfortunately the directional buttons don't seem to work with it? Seems like they should, but I can't for the life of me get them to work. 

Any ideas?

Check in the MyHarmony.com setup to see if any command has been assigned to those buttons, you may have to drag commands to those buttons in your HTPC device

Yeah there are definintely commands bound, I even tried adding some of my own and using a program that reads remote signals nothing was coming up. Maybe do a factory reset and start over?
