Remote Control Software

I have a Samsung TV and a Scientific Atlanta Box.  When I set up an activity to watch TV, everything turns on fine.  Only problem is the following.  The remote will change the channel via the Cable Box, BUT I cannot change the VOLUME which MUST be done on the TV, NOT the cable box.  Is their a way to configure that so I don't have to change devices?  Thanks!

Select your Activity in the sofware, select Customize Buttons and change the device assigned to the Volume buttons, and select the proper commands
